Move with the Mayor

Join Mayor Norton for her final, farewell Community Walks in October!
  • Friday, October 9, 7-9 am, RCTC Sports Center, 851 30th Ave SE
  • Saturday, October 10, 8-10 am, Silver Lake Three Links Shelter, 840 7th St NE
  • Saturday, October 24, 9-10 am, RCTC Sports Center, 851 30th Ave SE – Polio Walk

Move with the Mayor encourages community members to be active, connect with one another, and support overall health and wellness. Walking is a simple way to improve both physical and mental health, and these community walks provide an opportunity to engage directly with Mayor Norton in an informal, friendly setting.

Additionally, as a City for Health, Mayor Norton is partnering with HealMint on a three-month community wellness initiative to build healthier daily habits. Participants will wear a “smart ring” and use an ap for personalized insights across sleep, heart rate, activity, recovery, and stress trends. To learn more, visit the website.

The rings will be available at a drastically reduced rate of $20 for the first 60 community members who register. After the first 60 registrations, rings will be available for $49.99. (The retail value of the rings is $129.99.)

To participate in the HealMint community wellness initiative:

1—Visit the website.

2—Register to participate by clicking on the green ‘Register for the Initiative’ button. You will receive your ring at one of the Community Walks noted above.
