City Data Alliance

The Bloomberg Philanthropies City Data Alliance provides City leaders with education, coaching, and consultation on collecting and using data to deliver results for residents. Participation in the Data Alliance will position Rochester to:

• Establish a comprehensive City-wide data strategy that includes the five core components, including governance, capacity, quality, transparency, and use;
• Create a standard for collecting and using disaggregated data;
• Include a data workforce plan to assess, build, recruit, and sustain the capacity to use data;
• Develop, expand, or refine a centralized data platform.
